I felt very sad when the summer was over and I didn’t want the fall and winter to come but i’m finally ready and happy that a new season is here so I decided to get a good taste of the Fall colors and temperature so me and some friends went for a short trip Upstate.

We visited Minnewaska State Park which is been in my bucket list since the beginning of the summer but I got busy going to the beach instead so this was the right time to go there! is a short 2hr drive from New York, we got up early and rented a car at LaGuardia airport, my friend Dany found a HOT deal on “HotWire” app.

These are the highlights:

• Awosting Falls trail

• Lake Minnewaska

• We got local apple cider at “Wallkill View Farm”

• Dinner at G&P’s in New Paltz and back to Brooklyn.

Make sure you bring:

-Water

-Snacks or trail mix

-Camera

-Tick repelent

-Comfortable shoes and the right clothes for whatever temperature is.
