The other day I was looking at the snow falling through the window and I Imagined how a palm tree would look like with snow falling and I liked that idea, then I changed the snow for a more tropical environment and I also liked that thought.
I went to bed and I dreamt about a painting that could made you feel like you’re looking a palm tree through a window, then I thought about getting a silkscreen canvas, I looked and I couldn’t find artists doing this so the next following days I went to get this fabric and built this frame so I could execute that thought, I came up with this… In my dream looked a little different but as long as you know the palm tree is there and snow is involved I’m happy with it. So at the end this is the result of me wanting to escape in search of a tropical or warmer place where I can be surrounded by palm trees but I’m living in New York where is really cold this time of the year.
