Pink neon wave

There are billions of waves in the ocean in millions of shades of blues and whites or greens, I made one that looks blue when it’s off and pink when it’s on because it’s just a beautiful color that I wanted to play with.
I’m more than excited to swim between the waves more than any other times for the past couple of years and I celebrate that like this.

Through the window

The other day I was looking at the snow falling through the window and I Imagined how a palm tree would look like with snow falling and I liked that idea, then I changed the snow for a more tropical environment and I also liked that thought.
I went to bed and I dreamt about a painting that could made you feel like you’re looking a palm tree through a window, then I thought about getting a silkscreen canvas, I looked and I couldn’t find artists doing this so the next following days I went to get this fabric and built this frame so I could execute that thought, I came up with this… In my dream looked a little different but as long as you know the palm tree is there and snow is involved I’m happy with it. So at the end this is the result of me wanting to escape in search of a tropical or warmer place where I can be surrounded by palm trees but I’m living in New York where is really cold this time of the year.

“Three weeks apart”

This set of three neon boobs are called “Three weeks apart” because I wanted to represent in the first place how the body can experiment changes in less than a month because of a variety of reasons like our periods, our food ingest, depression, anxiety, hormones, medicine, etc. This is so real.
On the other side as my very own personal practice I just wanted to experiment with making one design more than once and this is just a reflection of my personality, I can’t be consistent at some things but I don’t like to call myself inconsistent, I like to say I have a need for variety. I don’t like to follow patterns and I just couldn’t stick to this one.

“Three weeks apart” is made out of 8 and 10mm coated glass tube injected with Argon(Ar) and Mercury (Hg).

Winter in NY

I love the poetic idea of roses at the beach, specially if there’s snow. I feel melancholic, in a good way.

I love my friends

My heart is full for having my best friends coming to visit, I am so happy to have beautiful women with me, I wish they were all here in NY with me, we had a blast¡

Abstracted to you

These are some recent paintings I’ve been doing, I had dreams about these colors and I’m satisfying my fantasies with bringing these strokes to life.

I keep adding these painting to my “Distant Island” series, that’s a place where I go to often when I don’t wanna be reached.
