YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK
Yosemite National Park was a last minute addition to my Grand Canyon/California road trip I made at the end of September, oh!!! i’m so glad I went!
I spent 1 day and a half there, stayed in Upper Pines Campground, I was lucky enough to find availability with a short time in advance, make sure you book this a few months before you go.
Got to meet “El Capitán”, “Half Dome” and the guts of this beautiful place, i’m sad I couldn’t see the falls and the actual lake at “Mirror Lake” but at that time of the year the water is gone… Best time to visit Yosemite should be Spring/Summer. I was happy to be there end of September because the weather was amazing, sun and nice breeze.
Enjoy my video, leave a comment if you like.
Bye!
Teresa.
Embracing fall at Minnewaska State Park
I felt very sad when the summer was over and I didn’t want the fall and winter to come but i’m finally ready and happy that a new season is here so I decided to get a good taste of the Fall colors and temperature so me and some friends went for a short trip Upstate.
We visited Minnewaska State Park which is been in my bucket list since the beginning of the summer but I got busy going to the beach instead so this was the right time to go there! is a short 2hr drive from New York, we got up early and rented a car at LaGuardia airport, my friend Dany found a HOT deal on “HotWire” app.
These are the highlights:
We got local apple cider at “Wallkill View Farm”
Dinner at G&P’s in New Paltz and back to Brooklyn.
Make sure you bring:
-Water
-Snacks or trail mix
-Camera
-Tick repelent
-Comfortable shoes and the right clothes for whatever temperature is.
October is "Breast Cancer awareness" month
You’re a “Warrior”
A little late in the month but I wanted to create a special piece for every woman out there fighting, struggling and surviving day to day in this world and in this crazy thing called life.
I named this piece “Warrior” because that’s who we are by the fact we are fighting everyday to whatever we have to deal with, I don’t want to say you are only fighting to destroy cancer but you also fight against emotions and feelings, you also fight to make a living and be able to enjoy our passions and hobbies and be with our friends and families and also to earn that other thing we called money so we can eat and live and feed your babies and families, etc, but there you are going against all odds, staying strong, please stay strong, stay strong.
I gotta add to my calendar to do a checkup and I hope you do that too and we all can spread the voice and we can stay healthy too.
Love you,
Teresa.
Lighting up some boobs!
Hey guys, thanks for reading me, I had some neon boobs all over the place and I decided to have some fun and put them together in my studio just so I can show you how cool they look all lit up!
All these pieces are for sale, you can write me an email terebomba@gmail.com or leave a comment on the post.

Death Valley, CA.
On my recent end of the Summer/beginning of Fall Vacations, I visited Death Valley and I loved it, I knew little about this place but I also knew that the views and location was extremely hot and also amazing so I booked my trip knowing I was coming here! Is one of the most awesome places i’ve been, I had a great time driving through the park and feeling hot at all times, termometer reached 107˚ F while I was there.
I arrive to the Park through the Death Valley Junction coming from Las Vegas, is about 2hr drive. Be prepared with a cooler with ice, water and snacks! I camped at “Panamint Springs” but there’s a couple more Campgrounds at Furnace Creek. Don’t forget to go to the Visitor Center and get your map, you can’t be around with out it and a car, most importantly.
This is the list of the places I visited in 1 day:
Zabriski Point
Furnace Creek-Visitor Center
Artist Drive-Artist Palette
Badwater Basin
Natural Bridge
The pool at “The Oasis” ($10 dls)
Dante’s View
Stovepipe Wells -Mesquite Sand Dunes
Panamint Springs resort (Only for sleep)
I wish I had extra time to explore more but I did pretty good!
Check the short version of a 20 min video I made at the bottom of the post, I hope you guys like it. Leave a comment if you like.
I went to the Grand Canyon National Park
Maine. Portland, Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Cape Elizabeth.
Traveling to Maine was one of the things In my SummerBucket list, I finally got the chance to go and I loved it!
I traveled from JFK New York to PWM Portland Airport, flight is about 1 hour, is the shortest flight ever!
Here are some photos of how this trip went.
You must:
Go to Bar Harbor and visit Acadia National Park, is worth it if you’re into nature and hiking, is about 3 hr drive from Portland, this is a beautiful and big park and a cute small town. The highlights are: - The Bubbles, -The Beehive, -Sand Beach, -Jordan Pond, -Watching the sunrise from Cadillac Mountain, maybe Thunder hole if the tide is high and a walk around Bar Harbor for food and souvenirs shopping.
Have some Lobster rolls, my favorites were from Lobster Co and Bite into Maine, also The Highroller, and must try a Blueberry pie too I tried mine from Geddy’s in Bar Harbor!
Walk around Old Port at Sunset
Get some oysters from Eventide Co. or Blyth and Burrows. Great Cocktails at Portland Hunt + Alpine Club.
And of course the Lighthouse visit in Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth.
