Alone in the world
On a hunch
I can’t explain how I got here today but sometimes I let myself go and act on a hunch, this might not be the best thing to do, but this might be the best way to live, have you ever experienced something like this?
Stay well and pay attention to your hunches friends,
Bomba.
Winter 2021
This is one of my most precious pleasures I have in life, we all have something we love to do that might seem a little odd sometimes but gives us a je ne sais quoi, don’t you think? Mine is taking roses to the beach and snap a few photos of them but this is something you already know about me, what’s new? haha.
This was beautiful day, i’m so happy i’m alive.
BANDANAS
Hello,
I wanted to tell you about my new bandanas I have now available to shop!
See I’m a simple girl, I rarely wear makeup or heavy accessories, but sometimes wears very specific things like heart shaped earrings, seashell anklets or cowboy boots, yeeeeha!!! and my favorite thing: bandanas! I wear them around my neck or on my hair, depending on my mood and the rest of my outfit/activity, I like wearing. them on a fancy night or for go hiking, road trips, etc. Last year I was at my studio working and thinking I should came up with my own bandana design featuring one of my neon artworks and then I thought maybe I should use the roses I photograph at the beach as an inspiration and that’s when I decided I wanted to use the roses and a possible neon rose to extend my collection called “Soy las Rosas, you’re my ocean”.
I started playing and creating doodles on paper bond and created a board on a wall, months later in December I won an iPad, i’m no designer and I can’t draw well but I started playing and sketching on the iPad, I bought a pen too, is so much fun to use it, and I like where I was going with the ideas except I knew I needed help somehow! It was 2020 already and my goal was to have the bandanas ready for this Summer, it was going to be almost a year, I had everything figured out except the designs. We were in the middle of the Pandemic in March and I got a message one day from a dear friend through instagram, I think the universe sent him to me because he is an artist, graphic designer, illustrator, etc. It was Thiago asking me how I was ? and I knew exactly at that moment that we was the perfect person to help me with my bandana project, I told him about my ideas, I shared a board and my doodles and he was listening, he came up with these 3 designs that I love. So thanks to him my vision came to life, it was really great working with him! He vibes high, he is caring, creative, vibrant, unique, colorful, talented human and i’m so proud of him.
Please take a moment to know more about his work and I hope you like the bandanas and I can inspire you to wear them and spice up your style, you can go to my shop online or just send me a Venmo @Terebomba
Thanks for reading and extra thank you for your support,
Love & Light,
Teresa.
These are some of the doodles I made on the iPad, It was such a fun and long process but i’m so happy I finally got to complete it!

"The visitors" and "Feminine Ways"
The other day I thought about how beautiful was to watch this art installation/performance by Icelandic Artist Ragnar Kjartansson, this 9 channel installation is called "The Visitors" the lyrics are from a poem called "Feminine Ways" by Ásdís Sif Gunnarsdóttir. I’m sharing this video I found on you tube today because I got to see the whole video again and I payed attention to the lyrics on the poem and it was so enlightening!
I was lucky to see this show for the first time at “The Broad” in Los Angeles in 2019 and later on the Dallas Museum of Art in November of the same year, is so wonderful, please take a look at it, I hope you like it, the artist himself appears in the video next to some of his friends which are playing an instrument in a different room at the same house somewhere in Upstate New York, at some point they all get together but they keep playing and singing, is so wonderful.
Here is the poem:
(Which by the way reminded me of how I feel when i’m taking photos of my roses at the ocean, it really spoke to me)
“A pink rose In the glittery frost
A diamond heart
And the orange red fire
Once again I fall into My feminine ways
You protect the world from me
As if I’m the only one who’s cruel
You’ve taken me
To the bitter end
Once again I fall into My feminine ways
There are stars exploding
And there is nothing you can do”
Hopefully very soon
The weather is now officially beautiful in New York! So I decided to ride a bike all the way to Dumbo from Williamsburg so I can see the water, feel the sun and workout a little bit, so much carbs these days, u know?
These times are really tough for all of us and nothing that I say or do is going to make a huge difference, but maybe you will enjoy these photos and see how much beauty there’s around us and forget what’s going on for 2 seconds. I truly believe we’re going to be fine, hopefully very soon.
Kiss,
Teresa.
Earth Day
HAPPY EARTH DAY EVERYBODY!
I hope we can take a moment to think about our dear planet, we live in a wonderful place, nature is amazing and we must respect it and take care of it everyday, is hard to do so because we are so busy living in routine that we forget about it.
Maybe we can eat less meat and recycle more and be nice to each other every day. Have a wonderful day and don’t forget to respect our Mother Nature as well as live in it to the fullest.
I wanted to share these photos below, they are from a trip I made to Big Sur on September 2019, on my way there from Carmel I wanted to make a quick stop for my roses photoshoot in Garrapata Beach and a small valley of lilies, it was such a beautiful day, please enjoy. We are so lucky to be living in this land with so much nature!
Best always,
Teresa.
Visual Poems.
I wrote this poem the other day, I was at my dear Laguna Beach, California recently, this is one of my favorite places. I’m no expert in how to express my emotions with words so I make this little clips instead.
I find so much beauty throwing roses at the ocean, that vision through a slow motion video makes me feel so many things.
Love,
Teresa.
